Then take the cable car to Monte, admire the wonderful aerial views to the city and discover the secret places of this parish with lovely and romantic gardens. After a relaxed cup of coffee or tea, take an exciting ride down to Funchal (to Livramento) on the famous wicker toboggan. Be prepared for an adrenaline rush!

DAY 3 – EXPLORING NATURE

Explore the eastern side of Madeira, breathtaking views, enchanting laurel forest, and traditional villages: Camacha, Pico do Areeiro, Ribeiro Frio, Santana, Porto da Cruz and Machico.

A tasty lunch in a lovely farm in Santana and poncha — a typical drink from Madeira made of honey, lemon juice and rum — tasting in one of the last steam-powered sugarcane mills (at Porto da Cruz) are also part of this delightful experience!

Dinner in one of the trendiest restaurants in Funchal, the terrace of The Vine Hotel.
