Journey to Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto – Itinerary:

Day 1 – Lisbon

Welcome to Portugal!

Private transfer from the airport to the hotel. Room will be available after 2.00pm. Accommodation in a double room, breakfast included.

Rest of the day free. We can suggest you places for dinner.

 

Day 2 – Lisbon

Breakfast at the hotel.

Hop on hop off – The best way to know the city! With these 4 lines you will visit the center, the monumental area of Belém, the whole area of Parque das Nações, the river area, the Castle area, the region of Estoril Coast, Cascais and Guincho.

 

Day 3 – Lisbon

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free day. We can suggest you things to do.

 

Day 4 – Lisbon/Coimbra/Porto

Breakfast at the hotel.

08:30am – Your private car with driver will meet you at the hotel.
You should be at Coimbra University at 11:30am, and you should count with 2h30 for the road.

11:30am – Private visit of Coimbra University Library.

The Library of Coimbra University is one of the greatest examples of Portuguese Baroque architecture. It was built between 1717 and 1728.

After the visit we suggest you to have lunch at the restaurants in the area or, for a light but usually good lunch, you can try the cafeteria at the Machado de Castro Museum, which serves traditional homemade food.

02:00pm – Private visit to the museum.

Leave Coimbra towards north.

 

Day 5 – Porto

Breakfast at the hotel.

9:30am to 01:00pm – This day is devoted to Porto’s historic city center: the beautiful Train Station, the Cathedral, the oldest surviving structure in the city; the Church of Sao Francisco, with its gilded interior and eventually the Bolsa Palace.

Rest of the day free.

 

Day 6 – Porto

Your driver will pick you up at the hotel.

Tour FD Santiago de Compostela – Santiago de Compostela, with its impressive Cathedral is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in the world, through the famous “Caminhos de Santiago”. The tour continues to the emblematic city of Viana do Castelo that combines historic and natural heritage with the serenity and safety of its urban living and connection to the sea.

Highlights: Santiago de Compostela Cathedral; Santiago de Compostela City Centre – Unesco World Heritage; Santa Luzia Sanctuary; Viana do Castelo City Centre.

Inclusions: Transfers and guided tours.

 

Day 7 – Porto

The driver will pick you up at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport.

End of services.
